Coyote named Player of the Week

Weatherford College baseball player Kade Bragg is the Baseball Player of the Week in the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference for Feb. 14-20.

The freshman left-handed pitcher from Ennis threw six innings without allowing an earned run in a 3-2 win over Lamar Community College at Roger Williams Ballpark. He allowed just two hits, no runs and two walks with 10 strikeouts.

Bragg is the third WC player to earn a weekly honor so far this season, as Brenden Dixon was Co-Position Player of the Week and Caden Hawkins was Co-Pitcher of the Week, both for Jan. 31-Feb. 6.
