MCC (23-15 overall, 12-6 in conference play) had previously won eight of its last nine games.
WC improved to 27-15 overall and 13-9 in conference, winning six of its last eight games including Wednesday's doubleheader sweep.
Game one was a pitchers' duel with WC's Adrian Siravo coming out on top. The freshman from New Hampshire pitched six and two-thirds, allowing just two hits, two walks and one run while striking out seven. McLennan's Logan Henderson allowed three hits and three walks with six Ks.
Hunter Rosson, an Aledo High School graduate, hit a two-run homer in the second inning.
WC jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the second inning of game two and cruised to victory.
Brett Brown went 3-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored. Jacob Guerrero and Bo Willis each hit home runs.
Sam Collins was effective as the game two starter, going five innings with three hits, one earned run, one walk and five strikeouts.
The two teams will meet again in Waco Saturday. The Coyotes play at Williams Ballpark again May 1 against Vernon College in a noon doubleheader.
