The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has named Joey Baran of Weatherford College the Position Player of the Week for Feb. 26 to Mar. 4.

A sophomore catcher from Austin, Texas, Baran hit .667 with a pair of doubles and home runs and five runs batted in for the week. He also scored six runs.
