Trace Mazon has been selected as the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Position Player of the Week.
 
The freshman third baseman from Aledo finished the week with a batting average of .600 with three doubles, a home run and 12 RBI. He also drew a walk and stole two bases while scoring seven runs. 
 
The Coyotes play their final two regular-season games at Roger Williams Ballpark on Saturday, starting at noon against McLennan. The series will determine the conference champion for the season.
