Davis named NJCAA Region 5 Player of the Week

Weatherford College's JC Davis was named the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Region 5 Position Player of the Week on Feb. 5. 

A sophomore second baseman from Argyle, Texas, Davis scored two runs for the Coyotes, batting .556. He also drove in a run, two walks and stole three bases the week prior leading to the honor. 

Weatherford College is currently in New Mexico to face off against Dodge City Community College and New Mexico Junior College. They return to Willams Ballpark on Friday, Feb. 21, to take on Amarillo College in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
