Prerequisite skills:
- Splits (all)
- Firebird
- Double/triple pirouettes
- High Kicks
- Turns in second
- Axel
- Stationary Leap
- Russian
- Calypso
- Switch Leap
- Basic background in jazz/ballet/hip-hop
- Learn long dance sequences
- Familiar with Pom motions
What to wear for tryouts
All black, fitted dance clothes (leggings, spandex, tank, sports bra, etc.), hair pulled back out of face, no jewelry (one pair of studs acceptable), tennis shoes and half soles.
Tryouts Requirements
- Freshman/Transfer Students: Proof of Application to Weatherford College
- Current Students: Minimum cumulative and current GPA of 2.0
- Copy of Health Insurance
- Online Registration
