High School/College Recruitment Clinics:

High School Recruitment Clinic (for grades 9 - 12)

Middle School Recruitment Clinic (for grades 6 - 8)
November 7, 2026 | 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
April 3, 2027 | 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Tryouts:

April 30, 2027 | 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
May 1, 2027 –| 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Location: Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center (Gym)
225 College Park Dr., Weatherford, TX 76086
Prerequisite skills:
- Splits (all)
- Firebird
- Double/triple pirouettes
- High Kicks
- Turns in second
- Axel
- Stationary Leap
- Russian
- Calypso
- Switch Leap
- Basic background in jazz/ballet/hip-hop
- Learn long dance sequences
- Familiar with Pom motions
Attire for Tryouts:
- all black, fitted dance clothes (leggings, spandex, tank, sports bra, etc.)
- hair pulled back out of face
- no jewelry (one pair of studs acceptable)
- tennis shoes and half soles.
Tryouts Requirements:
- Freshman/Transfer Students: Proof of Application to Weatherford College
- Current Students: Minimum cumulative and current GPA of 2.5.
- Copy of Health Insurance
- Online Registration
Scholarships available if the following criteria is met:
- Be enrolled in WC Cheer classes (Fall and Spring semesters) and attend regularly.
- Be enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours and maintain a 2.0 GPA or better.
- Attend and perform at all assigned WC Coyote games, as well as other required events and/or activities.
