Bio
Nelson Rowls joined the Weatherford College coaching staff in 2024.
Rowls has more than two decades of high school and collegiate coaching experience. At the collegiate level, he was the inaugural head men’s basketball coach at El Centro College in 2012. He also served as assistant coach at Mountain View College (2005-2009) and Cedar Valley College (2009-2012) in Dallas. At Cedar Valley, he played a key role in leading the Suns to the 2012 NJCAA Region IV Conference championship and an appearance in the NJCAA Division III national championship game.
He was a lead assistant at the former Ambassadors of Christ Christian Academy in Fort Worth, where the team captured three consecutive Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) state championships (2002-2004).
