Coyote golf competes in Ruidoso
The Weatherford College men's golf team finished in fourth place at the ENMU-Ruidoso High Country Shootout, with Giovanni Vezza tying for third and Jett Moore finishing ninth.

The Weatherford College men's golf team finished in fourth place out of 12 teams at the ENMU-Ruidoso High Country Shootout Sept. 22-23. The tournament was hosted by Eastern New Mexico University-Ruidoso at the Links at Sierra Blanca.
As a team, WC (28-under) was only one stroke behind third place New Mexico Junior College. Odessa College and Midland College tied for the championship at 55-under.
WC's Giovanni Vezza finished in a four-way tie for third place at 13-under (66-69-68). Vezza is a transfer from NMJC and a native of Turin, Italy.
Aledo High School graduate Jett Moore finished in ninth place at 11-under (71-67-67).
The Links at Sierra Blanca is a par 72, 6,691-yard course.
The Coyotes will next compete at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces Oct. 14-15. Find the team's full schedule at wcathletics.com.
