WC competes in Arkansas, Mayer ties for sixth

Returning home from Rogers, Arkansas, the No. 5 Weatherford College men's golf team placed fifth in the Shadow Valley Invitational hosted by the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. 

No. 6 Michael Mayer tied for sixth place alongside Aiden Asby from Missouri Western State University.

Mayer was the only Coyote to finish in the top 10, hitting an even par in rounds one and three, and only had a one over par in round two.

Next up for the men's golf team will be the TankLogix & Tall City Exploration Championship at the Green Tree Country Club in Midland on March 9 and 10.
