WC men’s tennis continues nationals run

WC's Bruno Britez battled from behind and advanced to the quarterfinals with a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over 5th-seeded Samuel Antwi of Seward County Community College (Kansas).
Alexis Leguizamon also advanced out of the Round of 16 with a 7-5, 7-5 victory over Vicente Faria of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
Emmanuel Jebutu advanced when Zachary Riley of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (Georgia) retired with a 1-6, 6-4, 3-0 score.
Marko Filipovic lost his Round of 16 match to Jett Leong of Eastern Florida State, 6-2, 6-2.
In doubles, Britez and Leguizamon retired after trailing Alexi Khamrotau and Simeon Latinchev from Pratt Community College (Kansas) 6-2, 3-2.
Lopez and Filipovic lost to Samer Al Tori and Calvin Golmei of Tyler Junior College 6-3, 6-4.
