WC men's tennis begins nationals
Coyotes perform well on the first day at national competition
The No. 5 Weatherford College men's tennis team is currently playing at the NJCAA National Tournament at Collin College Tennis Facility in Plano, with the Coyotes taking victories in the doubles and singles events on day one.
Bejamin Asker faced off against Rory Carlyle from USC-Sumter. Carlyle retired early, giving Asker the match 2-1.
Pablo Pasco and Andres Serrano dueled against Wyatt Jurgensmeyer and Kolten Tabbert from SW Illinois, winning their doubles match 6-3 in round one and 6-1 in round two.
