Coyotes advance multiple players to semifinals at NJCAA Division I National Tournament

The Weatherford College men's tennis team was in sixth place after the first two days of the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in Plano. 

WC's Santiago Hildalgo advanced to the semifinals of Flight 2 singles Tuesday, coming from behind to beat Salva Mulet from Eastern Florida State College, 6–7, 6–3, 6–2.  

Julian Blainey defeated Tomas Kurz of Eastern Florida 7-5, 6-3 in Flight 5 singles. 

Pablo Pasco also advanced to the semifinals in Flight 6 singles with a 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 win over Santiago Martinez of Collin College.  

The tournament continues through Friday at Collin's Plano campus.
