WC rodeo starts season in Portales
WC's rodeo team had several top-10 finishes at the Eastern New Mexico University Rodeo, including second place in goat tying and sixth in breakaway roping.
Weatherford College started the rodeo season this past weekend in Portales, New Mexico, at the Eastern New Mexico University Rodeo.
Jacee Graff came in second in goat tying with 15.8 on two.
In breakaway roping, Kaydence Tindal's 14.8 on two was good for sixth place.
Mitchie Storey finished eighth overall in saddle bronc riding following a third-place finish of 78.5 in the first round and a no time in the short go.
In team roping, Conley Kleinhans and Catcher Gasperson finshed eighth while Lane Webb and Landon West finished tied for 10th/11th.
WC travels to Alpine this weekend for the Sul Ross Rodeo.
