The Weatherford College rodeo team has been competing well in the College National Finals Rodeo at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper this week.
In the Goat Tying event, Jacee Graff was tied for 8th after a time of 6.6 on Monday. She will compete in the second go-round Tuesday and then again Thursday in the third.
Cashton Weidenbener and his partner from Texas Tech, Cason Richey, were tied for second place in team roping after a 6.2 time. The pair will go again twice on Tuesday in the second and third go-rounds.
Graff and the team of Richey and Weidenbener each won the Southwest Region title in their respective events during the 2024-2025 regular season.
