The Coyotes won the first game, 20-7. WC wasted no time getting on the board, scoring 10 runs in the first two innings. Weatherford ended the game with 10 home runs.
Sierra Nixon was 4-for-4 with three home runs, four RBI and five runs scored. Charlee Horton, Destiney Jones, Darlene Montoya, Isabella Padilla, and Lencia Powell also added home runs for Weatherford.
Emma Southerland earned the win, allowing seven runs on five hits and striking out three.
Hill took the lead late in game two, winning 5-4.
The Coyotes were up 4-0 until the bottom of the seventh inning when Hill hit two homers and scored all five runs to secure the win.
Olivia Gutierrez was 2-for-3 with one home run and one RBI. Charlee Horton also hit a homer for WC.
Weatherford is 17-10 overall and 8-6 in conference play. The Coyotes host Hill College at Stuart Field Saturday, March 26 in a noon doubleheader.
