The Coyotes won game one, 9-0. WC took the lead early, scoring seven runs in the second inning.
Lencia Powell was 3-for-3 with two RBI. Sierra Nixon was 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI.
Teoni Lamb was the winning pitcher, going five innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, walking one and striking out seven.
After a long pitching battle, Hill took the second game, 1-0. Hill's lone run came in the top of the first inning.
WC's Olivia Gutierrez was 1-for-2.
Hill's Eileigh Whyte earned the win, allowing one hit, no earned runs and two walks over seven innings while striking out six. WC's Amelia White scattered six hits over seven innings, allowing one run and no walks with six strikeouts.
Weatherford is 18-11 overall and 9-7 in conference play. The Coyotes host McLennan Community College at Stuart Field Wednesday, March 30, in a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
