Pitcher Teoni Lamb was dominant in an 8-0 Weatherford College softball win over Ranger College in the Region V-North Tournament Friday morning at Stuart Field. The Kurrajong, Australia native allowed just two hits, no runs and two walks while striking out two batters in five innings.
Carter Smith went 2-for-3 with two RBI for the Coyotes (25-22).
WC scored two runs in the second inning, one each in the third and fourth, and broke out with a four-run fifth inning to win the game on the run rule.
Weatherford was set to play again Friday night at 8 p.m.
