The basketball coaches of the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference released their All-Conference awards Friday, with several Weatherford College players on the list.
WC played New Mexico Junior College in the 2022 Region V Tournament Wednesday. The Lady Thunderbirds, ranked No. 7 in the nation, took the win 79-75, ending WC’s season.
After winning the final regular season game of the year, the Weatherford College women’s basketball team clinched fourth place in the conference standings and a spot in the 2022 Region V Tournament.
