WC wrangles Cisco

The Weatherford College Lady Coyote basketball team defeated the Lady Wranglers 70-47 on the road in Cisco Saturday, March 1.  

Taking the lead early in the first and second quarters, WC doubled its efforts in the third and fourth to keep Cisco from bridging the gap.   

Jaque Giron had a triple-double, shooting for 11 points, pulling down 10 rebounds and completing 10 assists. Neso Anisiobi also had a great game, having a double-double in 11 rebounds and 17 points scored. Mya Wesley went 3-4 on three-point shots, scoring 11 points as well.   

The Lady Coyotes are fifth in the conference standings, with an overall record of 18-10 and a conference record of 9-6.  

They will play their final game of the regular season at Ranger College this Wednesday, March 5, at 5 p.m.
