Lady Coyotes victorious over Cisco College
WC goes wins three of last four games played
The Weatherford College women's basketball team came home with a conference win against Cisco College, outscoring the Wranglers 63-47 on Thursday night. WC has won three of the last four games played, improving its record to 3-3 in conference play, and 11-6 overall.
The Lady Coyotes jumped out to a 23-9 lead in the first quarter and never trailed, holding a double-digit advantage for the remainder of the contest.
Cisco College managed to outscore Weatherford 16-10 in the final period, but the deficit was too large to overcome.
Sophomore forward Neso Anisiobi continued her strong play for the Lady Coyotes, recording a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.
Albane Beyaert led the Lady Coyotes in scoring with 15 points, shooting 7-for-11. She narrowly missed a double-double, pulling down nine rebounds.
