Anisiobi named second-team All-American
Sophomore guard earns eighth All-American honors for WC for basketball regular season performance
The NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Committee recently released its selections for the 2025-26 All-American teams, including one player from the Lady Coyotes.
Neso Anisiobi, a Houston native, is the first women's basketball player at WC to be named an All-American since Masha Vasilevko in the 2017-18 season. She is the 20th All-American in program history.
During the regular season, the sophomore guard led Weatherford College in scoring with 17.3 points per game. She also averaged 10.7 rebounds, collected 51 assists and recorded 57 steals.
She was named the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Conference team for the second consecutive year.
Anisiobi is the college's eighth All-American in the last 12 months. The others include:

- Andres Serrano: 2025 Men's Tennis, NJCAA Second Team
- Corrina Haros: 2025 Women's Golf, NJCAA First Team
- Evan Brandt: 2025 Baseball, NJCAA First Team
- Beline Thibaut: 2025 Volleyball, NJCAA First Team
- Weronika Urbanska: 2025 Volleyball, NJCAA Second Team
Anisiobi has not yet decided where she will play at the university level next year.
