Outstanding performance leads to honors for WC golfer

Weatherford College's Catherine Haas-Black was honored as the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Region 5 Player of the Week in women's golf.
A sophomore from Arlington Heights native, Haas-Black finished second in the Buccaneer Spring Invitational Tournament held April 7-8 in Brenham, Texas. She fired rounds of 76 and 72.
WC women's golf hosts the Southwest District Tournament at Canyon West Golf Course April 28-30.
