Weatherford College golf made history Thursday as both the men's and women's teams accepted at-large bids to play in their respective national tournaments. It's the first national tournament in only the second year of the women's program, and the first in three years for the men's team.
The WC women will compete at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Finney County, Kansas, May 12-15. WC is ranked No. 11 out of the 16 teams that qualified.
The men will head to Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, Kansas, May 13-16 with the No. 9 ranking out of 24 qualifying teams.
