Coyotes into final day of women’s golf nationals
Corrina Haros climbs to sixth place at national tournament
Weatherford College's Corrina Haros moved into sixth place out of 81 golfers after the third of four rounds at the NJCAA Division I National Championship on Wednesday.
The WC freshman shot a 72, improving by three strokes compared to Tuesday's second round. Haros moved four spots up the leaderboard, shooting 6 over par for the tournament.
Emily Gutierrez climbed 15 spots, turning in a 77 on Wednesday. She was in 47th place.
The No. 11 Coyotes were in 14th place overall. No. 2 Odessa College led the tournament by 13 strokes over No. 2 Seminole State College (Florida).
The tournament is being played at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Finney County, Kansas.
