WC women’s golf finishes second in Arkansas 

Gutierrez and Haros tie for fifth as No. 7 Coyotes climb from fourth to second with a 10-stroke improvement in round two

WC women’s golf finishes second in Arkansas

The Weatherford College women's golf team took second place out of 12 teams at the Arkansas Collegiate March 9-10. WC competed against university and community college programs. 

The No. 7 Coyotes made a 10-stroke improvement from round one to round two (313 to 303) and moved from fourth to second. 

WC's Emily Gutierrez and Corrina Haros finished tied for fifth place. Gutierrez shot 75-79, and Haros shot 81-73. Anjali Nair tied for ninth (79-76). 

Henderson State University won the tournament, held at Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado, Arkansas.
