Coyotes take down Collin College

The No. 3 Weatherford College volleyball team defeated Collin College over the weekend, winning 25-11 in set one, edging out the Cougars 25-20 in set two, and sealing the deal 25-12 in set three. This is the 15th sweep for WC and their 26th conference win in a row.
 
The Coyotes now sit at 6-0 in conference play and have a 17-2 record overall, the best in Region 5.
 
Kiana Souza had 11 digs for the Coyotes, while Mirabel Onyegwu and Gabbie Maldonado each had 11 kills.
 
The Coyotes will travel to the King Center on Wednesday to face Vernon College. The first set begins at 6 p.m.
