Coyotes pick up 20th win in Cisco sweep
Weatherford College powered past Cisco in straight sets Wednesday night, racking up their 20th win of the season and keeping their conference streak alive. Weatherford College swept Cisco College 25-18, 25-19, 25-16 in a conference volleyball match in Cisco Wednesday night.
Three WC players finished in double-figures in kills: Gabriella Maldonado (11), Beline Thibaut (11) and Weronika Urbanska (10).
Kiana Souza led the team in digs with 16. Victoria Sanchez had 17 assists.
With an eight-match winning streak, the No. 3 Coyotes improved to 20-2 overall and 9-0 in conference play. It was their 29th straight conference victory and their 18th sweep of the year.
The Coyotes travel to McLennan Saturday and return home to the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m.
