WC adds to record conference winning streak
Coyotes break NTJCAC record with consistent hard work and dedication on the court
The No. 2 Weatherford College volleyball team is on a 10-match win streak, defeating North Central Texas College on Wednesday. WC won 25-14, 25-19, and 25-20, making it their 20th sweep of the season.
This also marks the 31st consecutive conference win for the Weatherford College volleyball team; their last defeat happened two years ago on Oct. 7, 2023, against NCTC.
Taking another shutout victory, the Coyotes have an overall record of 22-2, with an 11-0 in conference. They remain the leaders in the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.
Opposite hitter Gabriella Maldonado claimed 12 kills against the Lions, followed closely by Beline Thibaut with 10.
Kiana Souza chased 11 digs on the defensive side of the ball. Ally McCabe helped the home team with 15 assists alongside fellow setter Victoria Sanchez, who attained 14.
The Coyotes will travel to face Ranger College on Saturday, Oct. 11.
