Thibaut named POTW for second consecutive week
First player to receive offensive and defensive POTW for WC Volleyball
For the second time in two weeks, freshman outside hitter Beline Thibaut is the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week. This week, she was named the defensive POTW, whereas last week, she was named POTW for offense.
This marks the first time this season a player for WC has been recognized for both offensive and defensive player of the week, and the second time a player has received back-to-back acknowledgement for their efforts on the courts. The first back-to-back player was Kiana Souza for the weeks of Sept. 4 and Sept. 12.
The Marseille, France, native led the Coyote defense in both digs and blocks, with 14 and four, respectively.
Thibaut totaled 21 digs for WC, averaging nearly four per set, in their matchups against NCTC and Ranger. She also led the team in aces with six total over both games.
