Coyotes defeat Rebels at home, 33rd consecutive conference victory
The No. 2 Weatherford College volleyball team defeated Hill College on Wednesday at the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center, sweeping the Rebels 25-10, 25-15, and 25-18. This continues a two-year winning streak for their 33rd consecutive conference victory, dating back to Oct. 7, 2023.
Maintaining a perfect 13-0 record in conference play and a record of 24-2 overall, WC is an unstoppable force in the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.
Several players for the Coyotes contributed to their successful mid-week sweep.
Glorybell Puente delivered 10 kills alongside Mirabel Onyegwu, Rayna Dinsmore and Weronika Urbanska each had eight kills.
Victoria Sanchez stepped up to secure 23 assists, while Kiana Souza showed out on defense with 16 digs.
The Coyotes will be back home on Saturday, Oct. 25, to play against Vernon College at 1 p.m.
