WC volleyball dominates Temple
The No. 2-ranked Weatherford College volleyball team defeated Temple College on Wednesday in its 26th sweep of the season. The Coyotes beat the Leopards with a 25-9 score in the first set, 25-10 in the second, and 25-14 in the third.
The Coyotes keep their win streak alive, marking this victory as the 36th straight conference win over the span of two-plus years. WC's overall record for the 2025 season improved to 28-2, and their conference record stays flawless at 17-0.
Glorybell Puente Estrella led the offense for the Coyotes, with 10 kills and zero errors.
Beline Thibaut performed 19 digs on defense and eight kills on the offensive side of the ball.
The Weatherford College volleyball team will play its last regular-season game at home on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m., where the sophomores will be honored for their achievements over the past two years.
